2011年の東日本大地震より、
復興と穏やかな生活への祈りとアップサイクルの可能性を提案しながら那須高原の豊かさをアートからご紹介できないか？と那須高原の様々な施設のご協力により、不要物や廃棄物を使用して那須の水で染める「那須染め」と名付けた実験、活動を始めました。

現在では60以上の施設さま(ホテル、レストラン、カフェ、動物園、農家さんなど)がご協力、ご提供くださり250色以上のサンプルが染まり、販売を始め、ワークショップや展示の開催、また2017年からは海外の展覧会に那須染めを使用した作品を出品し、那須高原の大自然や人の魅力をサスティナブルアートとして「那須染め」により発信しています。

主な染色用不要物
・野菜、ハーブなど植物の葉、茎(不食部分)販売規格外品
・伐採後の木々
・期限切れのお茶や抽出後の珈琲
・草食動物の糞
・畑土、稲藁、落ち葉など

When I had eastern Japan big earthquake in 2011,
I started to search possibility of the upcycle the rest around local place with play for the rebuild and peaceful life.
also,I imagine splendour nature in Nasu-kogen to introduction by this art.
The experiment called “Nasu dyeing” and the activity dyed using an unnecessary thing
and waste have been begun by cooperation in various facilities in Nasu-kogen.
(hotel, restaurant, cafe, zoo and farmhouse)
and the present time cooperate with facilities of over 60.
and a sample beyond 250 colors offers it to me and is dyed.
I sale on and exbite the works and open the WS now.
also I’ve been try to show some international exhibitions from 2016
with Nasu dyeing art pieces to introduce this effort by sustainable art.
